2016. Growth. Sustainability. Stability.

Thank you Victoria Emerson for helping me to start my new year off right by partnering with me on this post.

Dear 2016,

I’m so glad that we’ve met. Honestly, I wasn’t ever sure if we would. 2014 and 2015 have been arguably the worst two years of my life. So many downs and very few ups. However, looking back, when I was up, I was very happy, and I cherished every moment. I’m blessed to have experienced some of the things that I have. I have a lot of goals for this year, and I’m excited to start making things happen.  2016, there are a lot of people counting on you to be the best year yet. I just need a few things. I need you to allow me to be happy and successful and utilize my talents to help not only myself, but others too. In return, I promise to work consistently and tirelessly to get to where I’m destined to be. I promise to help others along the way and to be the best person I can be.

I want this to be a year of growth, sustainability and stability. That’s my theme for you. I know faith without works is dead, so my consistency in focusing on my event planning business and my blogs will be a key component of my sustainability and growth for this year.

I was so inspired when I learned that all of the jewelry from Victoria Emerson  was handmade by artisans in their own homes. These artist have found a sustainable way to provide for their families and provide a stable living environment all using their talents. Thankfully so because the jewelry is gorgeous!

You will be my 24th year of life and although the twenties are the best time of your life, it’s also the foundation that sets the tone for the rest of your life. I’m excited about you 2016!
