I initially started this blog as a journal, it has since grown into soooo much more. Instead of making New Year’s Resolution’s every year, I make a to do list! On the to-do list are little task-some that are fun, some that are personal, some that are hard, some that are easy. To me it’s sooo much easier to complete a to =- do list than New Year’s Resolutions that you forget about after Valentine’s Day. Earlier this year, I shared my to-do list on my blog and did an update, shortly thereafter. On Monday, one of my readers, asked how is the to do list coming? I’m so thankful for readers who hold me accountable! So here is an update:
1.Skydive: Still haven’t done this yet. It’s been on the to-do list for the last 2 years! lol
2. Travel to another city(s) YES! I visited California and Lousiana
3.Eat sushi. I tasted Sushi while working the Asia Society Texas Grand Opening. I don’t know what kind it was, I was just hungry so I ate it!
4.Go to the zoo. Can you believe it took me almost 20 years to go the zoo in Houston? It was a fun experience, and I’ve since learned that UH students go free with a Cougar ID…umm excuse me, I paid $13 last time!
5.Buy another Barbie purse. Of course I was going to complete this one! Shopping is easy to do! I love it! It’s a Barbie Collector purse, made of out woven seat belts. It’s on sale now, if you want to buy it!
6. Pay off old credit card So I paid it off…but then I got more!! It’s not as much as the first time, but I’m not going into 2013 with 2012’s debt, I will pay if it off again!
7. MOVE Thank God!
9. Become an officer in a club. Did it! Three clubs in fact!
10. Go to a Rockets game. Still haven’t done it. But basketball season is coming up. Who wants to go with me?
11. Go to a drive-in movie. Nope haven’t done it.
12.Run a 5K. Haven’t done it yet…but I’m signed up to run the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving. You should too!
13. Learn to cook an entire meal. Ugh! I hate cooking.
14. Open a savings account and actually save! Doing it…I need to stop dipping in there though! lol
15.Make Dean’s List.Totally did it. And even had my own little press release.
16.Go to a Concert. No one has been interesting.
17. Go to a cultural event outside of my own. Asia Society Texas Grand Opening was so awesome! I learned so much about the Asian Cultures.
18.Fly on a Plane. In fact I’ve been on a plane twice this year and I gave some tips for airport outfits too!
19. Go to the children’s museum. Still haven’t made it there.
20. Fall in Love! I have no idea why this is even on the list! lol
So far, I think I’m doing pretty good! It’s important to stick with your goals and I’m glad I have been. What are some of your goals for 2012? Have you been checking them off?

Oh, I’m all about to do lists, I see you did a lot of think from list, good luck with all of them :).
Go girl! Looks like you have been doing a great job, Taylor! It’s so great to see you progressing through the goals you have shared here with us. And I can’t wait to see you incorporate your barbie bag into a look 😉
I find that to-do lists are my way to get through anything. I am a chronic list-maker and it definitely helps me to chart my goals and stay reminded of them. One of my goals has been to revisit my love of poetry and attend a local poetry event. I was able to cross that off Saturday night! I’m still stoked about this lol.
I wish you blessings and continued success with all of your goals! =)
