The Tuesday, following a very lackluster Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta reunion, K.Michelle’s album “Rebellious Soul” was available in stores and in digital download. I’ve always liked K.Michelle, because she’s so real! I was very excited for her, because she is one of the few reality stars, who have leveraged their reality drama into a legitimate career.  Despite, what people think Love and Hip-Hop Altanta has helped her career…the ratchets fanbase from that show buys albums and concert tickets and K.Michelle is predicted to sell 70,000 albums in her first week. (A few thousand more than Kelly Rowland and a couple thousand more than Ciara.)

I went out and bought her album and as Scrappy would say it’s the “shiz-ny-ee”. You can listen to the entire album throughout and find yourself feeling a variety of emotions including laughing at the ratchetness.

The album has eleven tracks. My top three favorite songs are “Sometimes” “Can’t Raise A Man”, and  “My Life”.  I also really like the song “A Mother’s Prayer” dedicated to her son, Chase.  The most hilarious part of the album is a hidden track, ratchely titled “The Coochie Symphony” (you know she referenced her vagina being broken on LHHATL, this is about that).  “VSOP” was here debut single…watch the video below!

This is a very good album! K.Michelle is teaching life lessons…buy the album and get educated!
