As a lover of the color pink and the self-proclaimed “Box Cake Queen”, I’m super excited to have partnered with Brand Castle to share with you guys how to make pink waffles.
I love pancakes (and waffles) , mostly because I absolutely love pancake syrup. I put it on pretty much every breakfast food known to man. You want to know something really sad, though? Chile, I can’t make a pancake to save my life! I tried to make pancakes and they were so thin…I don’t even think they qualified as crepes. That’s why I choose to make waffles…just mix it up, pour in of the griddle, and TA-DA waffles!
The Perfectly Pink Pancake Mix was just that…pink. I was so excited that the mix was really that pink! The mix also includes real chocolate chips!
I loved that you just add water, mix, and now you’re cooking! There is no recipe and very little measuring..which is what I like the most about cooking from the box…it’s easy! This is how to make pink waffles…mix and pour!
So this is how my waffles turned out! I think they are cute…but I was struggling with the waffle maker at first. I hid the really ugly waffles underneath the others.
I was originally supposed to make these waffles for Valentines Day but you know life happened and I was out of town and a whole bunch of other stuff. Chile…anyway…I decided to make this for dinner one night and it was so delicious! You know breakfast taste better at night…paired with some sausage, my favorite fruit, and my favorite pink lemonade..you know I chowed down!
This was one of my more positive kitchen experiences! The smoke detector didn’t go off and I didn’t throw away food that I ruined…I did have my chef friend Loren nearby for moral support though. I love waffles, but can’t really say the same for pancakes. I know their the same thing, but I prefer the former. Maybe it’s a mental thing. Anyway, would love to try this and it seems very appropriate that you’d try out this product! lol #TeamPink
