You Get A Phone! You Get A Phone! Wal-Mart Best Plans for Middle School Grads!

So Fab Disclosure.jpg

I can’t believe that I just graduated college! It’s a surreal experience and I’m kind of feeling old.  What is  really making me feel old is the fact that my twin sisters are   graduating from middle school in a matter of days! I feel like just the other day I was holding my little sisters at the hospital and teaching them how to write their names and tie their shoes. They just turned 14 two months ago and now they are heading to high school. To reward them for their upcoming milestone, I decided to reward them with phones from Wal-Mart Family Mobile

To reward them for their upcoming milestone, I decided to reward them with phones from Wal-Mart Family Mobile. The twins have always had phones, however, they constantly lose them, break them, or oder $100 worth of games and ringtones. (What do you expect from the iGeneration? They have never had to experience the basic Nokia phone or the text message plan that allowed for 150 text a month.  They take those things for granted!) Coming from a large family (me, five younger sisters, two parents, and four dogs) our mobile plan was always outrageous. My parents would always tell us about waiting until after 9pm to call our friends or to limit the number of text messages we were sending. Chile, don’t nobody have time! So I got my own plan back in high school. I tried the Wal-Mart Family Mobile Plan before  but since I’m under contract…I’m still with my mobile provider.. Having used the service before I knew that this would be a good plan for the twins and an easy way to save my parents money.  Now that they  are “mature” teenagers, I decided to ease the burden on my parents and buy them the new Samsung Galaxy Exhibit from my the neighborhood Wal-Mart near my parents. Mature is in quotes for a reason. I had a time trying to shop for phones with these two. They wanted to choose their phones ( of course they wanted different ones) , chit-chat with their friends, and kept asking me to borrow money. Don’t they know I’m a recent college grad? Lol I don’t have any money! (Oh, I also wrote about why the #FamilyMobile plan works for us 20-somethings too) We got through the shopping though!

We looked around, but in the end, we got the phone that I was paying for! Lol They looked at the all the cool things the phones could do and were excited. With the Galaxy Exhibit, they can take photos for Instagram, text their friends, and call our parents to check in. The Family Mobile plan is completely unlimited, so the two of them don’t have to worry about sharing minutes or text messages. The unlimited plan is $40 a month, but since we are adding two lines, we are able to get the 2nd line for $35 a month. That is a steal! Two unlimited lines–talk, text, and web, for $75 a month! I’m sure my mom will be so glad, she isn’t adding on to her already outrageous mobile phone bill.

Thank you #CollectiveBias and Wal-Mart for allowing me to share my shopping experience and become sister of the year! I’m sure the twins are very happy…I haven’t seen them since we activated the phones. Lol

Hannah with her phone…like I said, I couldn’t find them after we activated them. Hope was somewhere taking snapchats.

  1. $70.00 for an unlimited plan is awesome. i am almost ashamed of what i was paying for 2 cell phones with another very popular provider. i have already started calculating the extra money for the high school makeover.

  2. I love my new phone and I am so excited. It was very easy to set up and get started. Time to take some selfies!!
