And the award for worst blogger goes to…chile, why was my blog anniversary in January and I’m just now posting about it? In my own defense, I totally confused oversharing my party on social media with actually creating a full blog post…turns out I had a whole album full of photos that have never been published. So here are some of the fun pictures from my celebratory event.
I’m still not over this soo…Let me tell you about the food. So my mommy ordered these cute cookies for me with my logo on them, so cute. I was so excited about them, until my mom gets there and they can’t find the cookies. Chile, why did they give my cookies to someone else? Then they said they were going to go and get them and bring them to my event. Uhh eww…why would I want some cookies that strangers touched all over. Needless to say, I didn’t eat anything, and I ended up bringing the leftover snacks to some of my co-workers at work. I won’t bad mouth the bakery because my mommy is a corporate client of theirs and she has already given them a big tongue lashing, so they may have suffered enough but…YOU KNOW YOU ARE BAKERY! Oh and Chaun’s (the boutique owner) husband made this rum punch that was so good! I’m glad I didn’t have too many or else, I would have been stuck at the boutique waiting on a cab driver. Lol
Shawn owns a cute little boutique in the Greater Heights Area called Haute Dimensions. They have really unique and affordable pieces here and Shawn and her entire family are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I had to host my event here.
I’m glad some of my blogger buddies could stop by and shop with me. My best friend Paige also attended. My mommy came but she didn’t feel dressed up enough so she didn’t take pictures. The last picture is Chaun’s daughter (right) and her friend, you will see her modeling clothes on Haute Dimensions social accounts and website.
Chaun had some great door that she gave away. Nicki and the Houston Fashion Blogger Intern ended up winning them!
I’m grateful to celebrate 3 years of blogging and to all my friends and family who came to celebrate! Here’s to many more years of blogging!
