#DoggiesWhoBruch: Birthday Edition

This year marked the third year of #DoggiesWhoBrunch! This event was initially scheduled for mid-October but Hurricane Harvey came and really tore up Houston. We rescheduled for November 5, 2017…which was the day after my (Sparkle) birthday. So my mom and I decided to make this years’ brunch both a birthday party for me and a charitable event for dogs in need. We invited Friends for Life to come and speak to the brunch attendees and also raise money and needed items for them.

We ordered treats from The Doggie Express. The dogs really loved the pupcakes and the decorated fall cookies. I think I saw some humans ate a few too.

Many thanks to our sponsors for helping to make #DoggiesWhoBrunch possible:

Around the Corner (host restaurant)

Urban Tails

Pup Pops

Houston Pet Talk Magazine

PR Paige

Doggie Bags for all of our guest.

Mom and Paige (my Godmom) were greeting people at the entrance. Getting people checked in and giving raffle tickets for those who bought donations.

That’s me! The Dog of Honor/Birthday Girl/Hostest with the Mostest!

Guest Speaker from Friends for Life.

My in real life fur-iends, Akasha and Kimchee!

One of our raffle winners!

So pleased with how #DoggiesWhoBrunch turned out this year! Hoping for much bigger things in 2018!
