Advance Screening of Beyond The Lights! #BeGreatB6

Beyond-The-Lights-1

While at Blogalicious I had the opportunity to attend an advance screening of Beyond The Lights. I was so excited to see a love story where it didn’t end in death. This movie left me feeling hopeful about falling in love.

The movie follow Noni, a pop superstar and Kaz, a police officer and aspiring politician. Kaz is assigned to be her security detail and he saves her from jumping of a balcony. After that night they fall for each other…they fall fast and they fall hard. Everyone around them doesn’t think this relationship is good for either of them and they encourage them to work on their careers instead. In the end, Kaz’s love give’s Noni the courage to find her voice and become the true artist she was meant to be,

I loved the movie. More than just a love story, it also touches on being raised by single parents, controlling parents, self-esteem, and self worth. I literally left the theatre like, “OMG, when am I going to fall in love?” It’s a nice wholesome…well there are some scenesssss… but it’s a mostly wholesome love story about finding who out who you are and finding love in the process. Definitely a movie for the whole family to watch. Beyond The Lights came out on Friday, so if you haven’t seen it yet….you need to see it.

Thanks Blogalicious and Relativity Media for letting me see Beyond The Lights before everyone else!

    1. Girl, it’s a great movie. I felt like it ended kinda fast, but it’s just a cute little love story. You can take your kids too, there is one sexy scene but overall the movie is a good film for everyone to watch.
