So sorry that I haven’t posted in a while. I had a huge event that I was helping to coordinate for the Asia Society Grand Opening. There were back to back events from Wednesday to Sunday. So I got absolutely no sleep and did the bare minimum to make the grade on my homework. But that’s the world of event planning! I have a ton a ton of pictures to share!
This pass got me everywhere I wanted (and didn’t) want to go!
This was my office/home for the week.
The set up for the Tiger Ball!
Lee’s Golden Dragon!
Before I got cute! These were my set up clothes!
Another awesome pic of Lee’s Golden Dragon!
My nickname in modern calligraphy.
One of the beautiful dancers.
pretty flowers!
Japanese Firefighters!
Its blurry! But instead of a boring black suit we were required to where. I wore black slacks with a sequin black blazer! Yes! I worked it!
Tajik percussion and Uzbek dancing!
This was my ankle by the end of the week!
These drummers were cool!
Cambodian wedding ceremony!
My name in Arabic!
This boy was a drunk hot mess! He was dancing and he thought he was jamming! He also was trying to “holla at a sista”–his words not mine!
These shoes belonged to a writer for Paper City named Gaby. They are Jeffrey Campbell and to die!
I was wearing my Kasneem!
Is it me or do those go-bo lights look like an illegal plant?
Those were real trees!
Is it nerdy to love place settings?
The Tiger Ball took place in the parking lot across from Asia Society Texas Center. We tented the parking lot. Decked and carpeted it and left the trees in! Shout out to Melissa Krauser Events who pulled off this wonderful event!

Taylor! Your posts about your event planning and your post about the CAP were so cool! I like checking up on your blog and keeping up with how you’re doing! So proud and impressed with your accomplishment (especially becoming UH Homecoming vice chair)!
P.S. I know the “drunk hot mess” boy!
