I recently started following Jennifer of Jasifers Lion and she is hosting a contest called the Big Fat Summer Challenge! In this challenge she helps to push women outside of their comfort zone by wearing outfits that they think may not flatter them.
Many people don’t know that I have struggled with self-esteem and body image issues throughout my adolescent years, and I’m finally at a point where I am mostly okay with my body. Even though I’m not necessarily plus size, I’m not super tiny either, and when my body started changing I wasn’t ready nor accepting. Each day I try to maintain a positive body image and not fall back into my old unhealthy ways.
So, with that being said, I’m really excited to take part in this challenge. Hopefully, I can complete all of them, and hopefully, this will help me to feel comfortable in whatever I wear.
The first look I chose was the BodyCon look. My birthday was on Tuesday, so I went out alot this week. This was the perfect opportunity to wear a BodyCon outfit.
Both of these dresses were from Bui-Yah-Kah and were $5 each!
