Cooking Out of The Box:10 Minute Tacos

10 Minute Tacos

I’m a very busy person. So busy that sometimes I forget to eat. It doesn’t help that I can’t cook. I’m the girl who still can’t make pancakes and have just recently mastered the box cake. Seriously. When I shared my to-do list, I wrote that I wanted to learn how to cook, even if the recipes are meant for little kids and their easy bake oven…I want to make something successfully! So here is a quick guide to making 10 minute tacos, while not breaking a sweat. Yes, it gets very hot in the kitchen–and I hate being hot! lol

10 MINUTE TACOS

Ingredients

Ground Beef or Ground Turkey
Taco Seasoning
Taco Kit
Shredded Lettuce
Fresh Tomato Pico
Mexican Rice Side

Directions

1. Brown the ground meat and add taco seasoning.

2. Add the contents of the rice side, margarine (or butter), and water to a boil.

3. Wait until meat is completely browned and rice has finished cooking. (Approximately ten minutes).

4. Warm up tortillas in microwave for 35 seconds.

5. Serve!

As you can tell I’m all about convenience. I bought m lettuce already shredded and used fresh tomato pico as well. I’m lactose intolerant so I don’t have cheese or sour cream, but feel free to add them to your tacos!
