Since, I completely checked out of the real world since midterms, I’m going to overcompensate this week (SPRING BREAK), with multiple blog post! This is way overdue! A few weeks ago, I worked a fundraiser gala for the Memorial Herman Children’s Hospital and the theme was a carnival! Anyone in my family knows that I seriously want a carnival themed wedding. I also don’t really want an outdoor reception, the vows I can do outside, but I know if I had a whole reception outdoors, all my family would leave. Anyway, I’m not engaged or in a relationship for that matter, I was just really inspired to see an indoor carnival pulled off so well. Enjoy the pictures!
I love these striped linens!
The program was super adorable!
I absolutely loved putting the popcorn in the vase!
That could save a lot of money on flowers.
Lounge furniture is always a hit!
You can’t put a real Ferris Wheel in a ballroom, but you can bring props in!
I loved this blue linen!
Dang flash! This was a list of the activities that were at the gala!
They did have flowers on some tables.
The food was so fun! They had nachos, chicken tenders, chill dogs, fries, and other fun foods. They also had the little red containers that you sometimes see at carnival for people to use instead of plates.
Basketball game!
Yes there were some ballers in the house!
I didn’t really understand this furniture, but it was cute, and they needed to fill space because that ballroom was huge!
Another view of the “concessions.”
This was so fun!
Food is always important.
Another great prop idea!
I didn’t really like this centerpiece.
Even a lactose intolerant person like me enjoys an ice cream bar!
The wine toss was a hit for the over 21 crowd.
A big container of popcorn!
The super fun photo booth!
I worked the big board Auction!
Stilt walkers!
Clutch was in the house.
The event was designed by Darryl & Co., who always does a fab job of event design.
