Event: Houston Area Urban League Fundraising Gala

This past weekend the Houston Area Urban League held their 44th Anniversary Equal Opportunity Day Gala! This organization works to help minorities and other individuals achieve economic self sufficiency, so the funds go to good work!

jumpsuit
This is the jumpsuit I wore. It is very old! I wore it junior year of high school to my cheerleading banquet. It’s from Forever 21. Thank goodness for the loose stretchy material, because I’m a good 10lbs heavier than junior year of high school. The feather earrings I’m wearing were made by my sister.
I took a picture of my feet at the end of the night…and they were so swollen! I do not want to scare my readers away! LOL But these are the shoes I wore with my jumpsuit. They are from Payless and were $19.99…I think I’m going back to get all the colors! It’s BOGO right now and I just got a 20% off coupon text! Click on the image credit link to see all the colors.

Here are some pictures of the event…these are from my phone…I need to wait for the professional shots from the photographer. LOL
