Indique is an internationally known hair extension brand with retail stores across the United States and distributors throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, Africa and Central America. Indique Hair recently opened a boutique here in Houston. They recently held an event hosted by natural hair and inspiration blogger  Tierra Nicole. I met Tierra last year at the Black Social Media summit and I hadn’t seen her since . I was really excited to attend her event and learn about this high quality hair line.

Everyone knows that I LOVE hair extensions. I really liked the store too, because it had pink accents everywhere. It was so cute.

I just recently got a new camera, a pink Nikon J1 and I was trying out the cool features on my camera, like this color isolation feature. So cool!

There were two demonstrations given, one with the  Organic Curl that Tierra was wearing and the other with the Relaxed Straight that Darnel wore. They showed us how easy the hair was to manage and style and compared the hair to other virgin hair brands. I really love the Organic Curl! You guys know I’m natural, but I don’t know how to style my natural hair at all, I think I might try the Organic Curl hair in the summer.

It’s easy to bond over a common interest like hair. Everyone was laughing and interacting and secretly hoping they could win free hair in the raffle.

This was a super fun event! I love hair and I love chatting with others about hair. I had a great time and I wish I didn’t have to run out early to get to work, Check out Indique’s website. The hair is top of the line. It is a little more expensive than other brands however, thee quality is superb and if cared for correctly, you can use your hair for a long time!
