Little Black Dress…in the Spring! #ImADressGirl

I know that the Springtime is usually reserved for pastels and bright colors and I’m totally cool with that. You know I’m excited to wear my super cute pink dresses (like I ever stopped), but there is something about a little black dress…so classic and timeless. On Sunday, I wore a cute little dress and I felt just as springy as if I was wearing a bright colored dress. I think this was a classy look too, pearls and a red lip…love it!

I was trying to get the perfect photo of my new dress since I felt so pretty so I had my little sister Hannah take several photos of me. I love the ones with my hair blowing in the wind!

I wanted to clarify that Dressbarn has lots of cute stuff! As I was reading online and talking to some of my friends, I saw some really negative comments about whats in Dressbarn and who shops there.. Yes, I’m sure older people shop there and yes they do have some modest clothing there, but y’all know I’m young and they have things there that I like as well! They even have a kids line.  Fashion can come from anywhere, it is your personal style that makes the outfit. Don’t write off a place just because you think it’s not for you, try it out first and then if you don’t like it that’s cool.  But try it out before you knock it!

Dressbarn has a contest where they are giving away $500 gifts when you enter your favorite picture with the hashtag #ImADressPerson, go to their Facebook page to enter.
