Yummy!! Mi Cocina Woodlands Fall Menu Media Preview

I recently attended a menu preview for media at Mi Cocina in the Woodlands. Despite being lactose intolerant, I loveeee Mexican food! People generally look at me crazy, when I order tacos with no cheese, but hey, I have to take care of my digestive system…you only get one! Lol Back to Mi Cocina. Mi Cocina is sort of an upscale dining restaurant…which is rare for Mexican food that uses authentic Mexican cooking techniques and some of the finest ingredients available. They are rolling out a new menu for fall and I’m so glad I was invited to try everything out.

mi cocina the woodlands location
Mi Cocina is located in the Woodlands Mall shopping center. The restaurant gives off an upscale dining atmosphere which I really love! It’s rare to find a Mexican Restaurant that gives off that kind of vibe. The staff is super friendly too!

Okay, now for the food. Omg. There was so much of it and it was all good.

mi cocina fall menu appetizers
Appetizers: Traditional Salsa and Chips, Queso Blanca, and Guacamole Mexicano.
Obviously, I was hungry because I literally ate all the chips and salsa in front of me. The Queso Blanca was good, but I just had a little taste. I’m not a Guacamole eater, but I loved the presentation.

mi cocina ceviche fall menu
This was by far my favorite appetizer of all: Ceviche de Camarones!! So pretty and so tasty!! Shrimp, jicama, mango, onions…my mouth is watering just reliving the experience. Lol

mi cocina cocktails fall menu
Cocktails: Sangria Margarita and Mango Taxi Margarita
Chile, now y’all know I just started drinking 2 months ago and I swear that every time I go out now someone is offering me a cocktail! Lol

entrees fall menu mi cocina
Entrees: Vegetarian Tamale , Brisket Tacos, Piccadilly Beef Tamale
Those Brisket Tacos were my absolute fave! I had to take some of them to go!

mi cocina flan fall menu
And Flan for dessert. I don’t really care for Flan to much…but this one of the best I’ve had before…and it’s pretty so that’s good too!

I really enjoyed the food here! I had never been to MiCocina before, but now if I’m in the Woodlands, you better believe that I’m heading over to get me some Ceviche, Brisket Tacos, and a Sangria Margarita! If you ever near the Woodlands location…or any of the other locations, you should definitely check it out!
