Modeling for College Week on Great Houston!

A little over a week ago I was asked to model in Shalanda’s segment in Great Day Houston. As a proud Cougar of the University of Houston, I was excited to show my school spirit and some of my classmates were gonna be in the audience too! I actually didn’t get to model for my school. I modeled for Texas Southern University, which is literally across the street from my school. My dad went there too so at least I was keeping the school spirit in the family. My friends were still in the audience and they were very supportive…they just told me to hide behind all the red. IMG_0379-3087095697-O

So I was bloated. You know I was dealing with my monthly visitor.

Since I don’t know how to do my own makeup, I really enjoy getting my makeup done!

Y’all know I be trying to get things right!

I LOVE this off guard photo of me. My friend said it looked like I was saying something shady…I probably was. Lol

So basically I was Black Barbie. My makeup was done by Shatara Davis and my hair was done by my sister HollyeWood!

I didn’t like my outfit much because I thought I looked big. Coupled with Aunt Flo, I wasn’t feeling pretty. I shared with you guys about my body image issues, but I actually ended up looking really skinny on TV. Yay!

With the rest of the Coogs after the show, I’m hidden on the left in the front row!

  1. I love all the candid shots! Also, no bloating showed on my computer screen… that was definitely in your head, you look great!
