It’s technically not even officially summer, (the first day of summer according to the Summer Solstice is June 21) and it is hot as HELL-O in Houston, TX. (I’m always hot though-so I always carry those little Chinese fans with me.) Because I get hot really easily, I keep my outfits really simple. I love dresses so that’s what I’m wearing 85% of the time, but in the summer, that’s literally ALL that I wear! So here it is my go-to outfit of the summer: short dresses and wedge heels!It’s simple, cute, summery, and most of all cool!

4. Don’t forget your sunglasses! The sun is  blinding! The other day I couldn’t even tell if the light was green the sun was so bright. Put on some bright sunglasses with your dress and you are sure to be as hot as the sun! (lol) I am so corny!

5. The reason I chose wedges is because they are such a sturdy shoe! In the summer, I’m literally running around running errand, doing weddings, homecoming board stuff, church, unpacking (yes, still)! I love a stiletto and I can do almost anything in heels, but I’m not trying to have my dogs barking, nor am I trying to hurt myself. Wedges are the shoe of the summer for me. But since, I’ve been getting unexpected rain lately, so are my rain boots!
