Online Grocery Shopping for Busy Women! #Clicklist

13275003_10153662706070878_1016136387_oIn my early days of this blog, I dedicated an entire blog post to the fact that I hated grocery shopping but needed them to survive.  More than four years later that post still rings true. I hate grocery shopping…it sounds scary but I’d rather procrastinate eating than walk around the grocery store.  It’s not just groceries, I hate shopping in general. I’d rather just look online at some stuff and order it directly to my house. Well Kroger invited me to a special event to let me know about their new online grocery shopping service, y’all know Kroger is my favorite grocery store (because I get gas points) so I was super excited to attend!13271535_10153662706065878_1702650574_o

The event was held at Karbach Brewery in Houston and it was such a treat to be at a brand event but not a brand property. We were able to take a tour around the brewery at the end of the Kroger festivities and although I don’t like beer, the science nerd in me was really intrigued by everything required to make  a beer.

Throughout the dinner, Kroger shared information about their new initiative, Clicklist. Clicklist is the new way to buy groceries online and then pick them up curbside at the store. On the Kroger site, customers will have access to over 40,000 items of both groceries some general merchandise. (Yes, wine is included!) When you pull up to the store, you can provide your name and credit card and verify your purchase and drive off.

This excites me for a few different reasons. One, it prevents me from having to actually go into the grocery store. Two, it can help me stay on budget and buy what I need to buy without getting distracted from something else. Three, I can still earn my gas points! (At Kroger, you are able to get 10 cent off per gallon for every $100 you spend).

I am to busy being fabulous to be walking up and down the grocery aisles, picking produce! So I’m really excited to try this out! It is only $4.95 additional to your entire order to utilize this service. Honey, that five dollars is well spent if it means, I can pull up, pay, and drive off!  Y’all know I will have to share my grocery shopping experience, so be on the lookout for this soon.

Kroger, y’all are the real MVPs!
