Earlier this year I was invited to a Western Themed Planet Ford Humble Grand Opening and I was super excited to attend. Ford has been throwing some great events AND they have been inviting me but I hadn’t been able to make a lot of them…but I made this one and I’m super glad I did.
I’m an event planner so when I go to events, I notice a lot of things normal attendees don’t. I was so pleased with this event,,,there was no detail left untouched. The entire dealership was transformed into the “Wild Wild West.”
The gift bags they provided were super cute filled with Planet Ford themed goodies and some Pralines that my daddy loved.
I love a good photo booth…I didn’t like my photo though.
A Planet Ford Disco Ball? YASSSSS!
I was obsessed with the pink cowgirls and really upset that I didn’t bring my clothes to change after work.
Me and the pink cowgirls at the Randall Reed Planet Ford grand opening! So mad I didn’t change!

The new Planet Ford has a full service restauraunt on-site! It’s a 50’s themed diner serving favorites such as Burgers and hotdogs. The night of the event they served free burgers to everyone. I guess I was too busy scarfing them down to get a picture.
They also served Root Beer Floats with Root Beer from St. Arnolds Brewery and Blue Bell Ice Cream. I’m lactose intolerant but I had to indulge. I paid for it on my ride home…it was so worth it!
There was classic mustangs strategically placed around the party…It was a car party after all!
I thought these lip glosses were so cool! The owner had these made to give to the women who are buying cars from the dealership.
When you open it up a light turns on helping you to put your lip gloss on correctly. There is also a mirror on the side. Can you say handy?
Reeds Saloon was the service desk they turned into a bar. They had margaritas, beer, cocktails, and moonshine. Chile, I almost got some moonshine by accident…I’m glad I didn’t, I would have probably been stuck at the dealership!
I was obsessed with the PINK chocolate fountain. I think I need more practice on how to use it, I kept dropping things inside of it!
My favorite part of the event was how the service area (where they worked on the cars) was transformed. They bought in classic Ford vehicles and popped the hoods so you could check out the engines. There was also people standing near them to tell you more about them. They also included lounge furniture which I love! It was a great way to add a softer and more fun touch to the room! I absolutely loved this event and can’t wait to share with you my next Ford adventure!

I really like the retro thing they had going on. I’m really into pin-ups myself
