Pretty in Pink: Black Barbie Makeup

Hi Everyone!  My name is Dre and I’m the writer over at So She Writes , a blog about beauty, fashion, music, and everything in between.   Today I would like to share a makeup look with you guys that’s simple, yet fun and pretty.  Since this blog is written by the beautiful Taylor, the Real Black Barbie, whose favorite color just happens to be pink, I decided to do a pink Black Barbie style look.
I hope you all enjoy it!

How to: Pretty in Pink Black Barbie Look

1.  Add a light shade of pink eyeshadow onto the eyelid.

2.  Above the lighter shade of pink shadow, add a deeper shade of pink.  Blend the two colors to remove harsh lines.

3. To make eyes pop, add a bit of silver shimmer to the (inner) bottom lash line, the inner tead duct, and under the brow bone (to highlight).

4. Complete the look by adding liner to the entire upper lash line.  Add liner to the bottom lash line from the outside corner to the middle.  Then finish by adding 2 coats of mascara to eyelashes.

The Finished Look!
