Take Care of Yourself! You need You!

I’m always doing something. Seriously, if I’m not at one of my two jobs, I’m at a blogger event, or doing stuff for Homecoming, or church, or hanging out with friends, or helping someone with a project. Long story short, I don’t give myself enough rest, I hate plain water, and I find it hard to eat complete nutritious meals.
This weekend after planning an event, attending two blogger meet ups, and church, I came home and couldn’t make my way up the stairs to my apartment. I had severe side pain and my neighbors helped me up the stairs. When I got inside I called my mommy and through tears told her how much pain I was in.
My parents came over as soon as possible and took me to the emergency room, where all of my wrongdoing was brought to the light. Dehydration, exhaustion, and a small bladder infection (from not having enough water). Who knew that that these things were painful? I surely didn’t I was sure that I had appendicitis or something, but I’m glad it was just this, so no surgery is needed. This was a major wake up call. I have to take care of myself, because no one else is going to. Don’t let this happen to you! Take care of yourself!
Eat three meals a day…or eat in general!
  Drink plenty of water
Learn to say no
Take a break when you need it
Don’t hold it when you have to use the bathroom.
Above all do what is best for you because you need you!
The nurses and my daddy thought it was funny that I kept applying my lipstick.
It’s already bad that I felt like crap, I definitely didn’t want to look like crap too!
I’m sure there were single doctors around!
Take care of yourselves!
