The 2020 Auto Show…my recap!

I can’t believe I attended my sixth show as media for the Houston Auto Show. This event is always such a blast and even though I’m the girliest of girls–it’s something about a shiny new car that gets me all excited. This was the first year that I didn’t attend the preview gala or the media day– and I’m still recovering from severe FOMO! (I had a huge event client that I was preparing for, so I had to prioritize–I’ll be there next year!)

Check out my recaps from previous years here.

Here are some of my favorites from this years car show:

Ford

Ford is always one of my favorite car brands. They consistently deliver in style, design, and innovation. (They were also the first car brand I ever worked with and still one of my longest-lasting ones.) They debuted the first-ever, all-electric Mustang Mach-E at the Houston Auto Show and also showcased the Edge, Explorer, Expedition, and Escape. They also had Rangers there which I had an opportunity to drive and check out last year. (Blue Truck on Instagram Photo) I’m still working on being able to afford and design my pink pickup truck.

Land Rover & Jaguar

Me with a 2020 Range Rover.

I feel like at one point everyone wanted a Range Rover. Still one of the most sought after car brands after all of these years. I never really wanted to own one but I definitely love looking at them and test driving them. Their sister brand, Jaguar also had some really nice crossovers.

Land Rover 2020. I believe this started at $95,000 and was shown at $112,000.
Jaguar F-Type. Starting at $45, 200. This model was fully loaded, so much more than the starting price.

Buick

I stopped by Buick since I’m now an Encore owner and I just snapped a few pictures. I purposefully didn’t go all into detail because I would be at the dealership the next day, trying to add upgrades to my car. I don’t know why I’m like this. I really like my Buick and I’ve enjoyed the service that I receive from Buick/GMC in Katy. Top-notch luxury service at an affordable price.

At the Buick Booth, trying not to get ideas. See my cute car below!

I’m truly a pink girl to my core so when I saw a pink Louis Vuitton, Lamborghini, I had a fit! I was actually disappointed that I couldn’t get inside and look around but I got some photos of it because it was really THAT COOL!

Thank you to my IRL friend and blogger buddy Tammy for going with me to the car show. Check out her site if you’re into all things travel!

This was the first year I wasn’t on the market for a new car so I really looked around and snapped pictures of things that truly caught my attention. I also didn’t go on media day where I can get my pictures unobstructed, I will definitely try to plan ahead for next year. I don’t know why people see you trying to take a photo and then proceed to walk into your picture with no regard. But anyway, I’ve uploaded the rest of my photos to my Facebook page, check them out!
