The Blog Workshop Recap!

the blog workshop

I’m kind of late, but I had to share my experience with The Blog Workshop.  I was the very first college scholarship winner for The Blog Workshop! I’m sincerely grateful for being awarded the scholarship to attend the conference and to help assist with my school expenses this fall.

Being that I’m in college, it’s hard for me to justify missing school for conferences and shelling out a ton of money. I enjoyed  being able to attend a conference at night after work in the comfort of my own home! I was literally blown away at the fact that I was in bed, in my PJ’s , taking notes on my computer. I was a little skeptical at first about how much programming we could get into 3 hours a night…but I have 8 plus typed pages of notes to prove otherwise and an awesome workbook that I can reference. Yes, a workbook! All conferences should have a workbook with the content/slides from the presenters along with links and notes to help you implement the suggestions and tools you are learning about!

DaVinci, the conference organizer, paid great attention to detail. We had a number that we could call into if we had technical difficulties, her brother/partner/IT guy was quick about fixing any technical difficulties that we had, she have away GREAT  prizes (headphones, video equipment, LLC packages, etc), and she allowed us to chat questions to our speakers during the Q&A periods. It’s actually pretty genius.

I had a great time attending this conference and I’m STILL working on updating/changing/ implementing the information that I learned. There are workshops and online seminars hosted every month! There are payment plans and affiliate programs as well. The community of people are awesome and they follow back on Twitter! Definitely look into The Blog Workshop!

  1. Aww, we’re so happy you had such a great experience! We’re super excited about all the positive feedback we’ve gotten from the conference and even more excited about the AWESOME things we have coming to our community. It was an honor to have you as our 1st Scholarship recipient. We look forward to being able to help more student bloggers and bloggerpreneurs!
