My mommy is always at fashion events in Houston, but I’m never really invited to those, so I was really excited to be able to attend the “We Don’t Do Phaux Paw” event held at the pet friendly JW Marriott. This event consisted of a silent auction full of goodies fit for a posh pup, a fashion show segment for dogs and their humans, and shopping. The dogs who were in the fashion show were from Save Rescue Coalition which the event benefitted, they were also up for adoption.
We were greeted by the sign at the media check-in.
There were a couple of bowls of the Sweet Potato dog treats (made by the JW Marriott) around. These were yummy, I had quite a few.
The items in the silent auction were AWESOME. We bid on something but we didn’t win. There was so much. And all of it benefitted the Save Rescue Coalition.
I had fun getting all the attention from everyone. I was walking around like a model. (I wasn’t in the show though.)
We did a little bit of shopping from the boutiques featured.
And then it was time for the fashion show!
We had an paw-mazing time at this event! Glad to know that all of the dogs except one have been adopted and that Save Rescue Coalition got both recognition and proceeds from the event. I hope I can go to another fashion event soon.

It was a super fun event! I loved it so much! I was super sleepy afterward!
That sounds like such a fun event!! I love that it benefited a rescue and that some dogs found their new forever homes, too.
I liked that it benefitted a shelter too!
That looked like one hell of a party. So much glamour in one room and what great prizes
