This past Saturday, the 2nd Annual Big Hat Brunch was held at my church. The theme was ” A Beautiful Woman in Christ”. All the women were invited to wear the biggest and best hats along with a super chic outfit.
I really struggled with what to wear. I usually plan out my outfits for stuff like this way ahead of time.
But July 28 came before I knew it. I wanted to wear something pink and summery, but I couldn’t find anything that short of notice…at the bargain price I wanted. So I ended up piecing together something from my closet.

Even though this is not what I had envisioned wearing to the brunch, it surely turned out nice! You simply can’t go wrong with a black dress!
