I love reality television. For the second week in a row, I have tuned in to watch Empire Girls on the Style Network, and I’m pleased to announce that these girls have earned their spot on my DVR. This show follows former Cheetah Girl, Adrienne Bailon and former 106 and Park Host, Julissa Bermudez as they reach for the stars in New York City.
What I love about this show is that these girls are focusing on their career. Yes, they have love lives (kinda), family issues, and girls spats, but that is most definitely not the focal point of the show. And with shows such as Basketball Wives where women are fighting and arguing and giving minorities a bad name it is refreshing to see a show where grown women are acting like grown women.
Another thing I enjoy about this show are the outfits! These girls and their friends are always dressed to kill! They look fab and I have definitely been looking for some copycat outfits such as Julissa’s pink dress pictured above and her swimsuit cover up also pictured above.
I just figured that the Empire Girls referred to New York housing the Empire State Building… I know slow right. But you guys should definitely tune in…if not for the reality story line, but for the fashion!!
