Last week, I attended the Yappy Hour Kickoff Party held at Momentum BMW in Houston. This party was a super cute event benefitting the aniMeals on Wheels Program of Interfaith Ministries. This program provides food for the dogs and cats for homebound seniors who are participating in Meals on Wheels.
I was so excited to get all dressed up. I love car rides, and I love meeting other humans and doggies.
I wanted to kiss another dog, but my mom said no.
Mommy and I posing for our picture. You see us in our little black dresses, don’t cha?
Can’t wait to support this charity, now that I know more about them.
And all the Blue Buffalo treats were delicious. I loved them.
See. I loved them a lot.
Kriser those sweet potato treats were awesome!
The Sprinkles pupcakes were so good. I had two. Okay, three if you count the one I had the next day.
Mom had a drink and I was thirsty too, so I got water.
Ice water is to dogs what vodka is to humans…life changing.
Here we are with Chaka of Yappy Hour Events! SO nice to meet you! I hope we can work together on other things soon!
I’m glad my human and I could attend the Yappy Hour Week Kickoff party. Yappy Hour Weeks is a Houston-wide initiative scheduled for this coming spring that will encourage Houston pet lovers to visit dog-friendly restaurants while supporting the aniMeals on Wheels program. We will share participating restaurants here soon!

I feel like such a jerk right now because it never dawned on me about the people’s pets. Meals on Wheels is such an amazing program and I love that the pets are included in this.

What a great event! Especially the Deep Eddy table. As an Austinite, I am a big fan.
Have a great weekend!

I love everything about this! What a great cause. My pup loves Blue Buffalo – we feed her the grain-free dry food.
