I’ve seen so many girls walking around with chipped nail polish and just plain raggedy nails. Now I’m a girly girl and I enjoy going to the nail shop and getting a manicure with a fresh coat of pink polish, but everyone doesn’t. I’m not saying that you must wear bright nail polish and spend money at the nail shop. But I am saying that you need to make sure your nails are in shape. Your nails are important.
As a woman, we are constantly judged on how we look, and I don’t care what people say about fighting society by looking jacked up–that does not work! I’m a feminist and I believe in looking and feeling your best. If you don’t want a bright color, use a light pink, nude, or clear coat, but still take time to make sure that YOU are presentable.
People aren’t going to be saying that girl is fighting all the stereotypes of society, they will be saying that girl does not take care of herself .
I’m extreme, but take a look at how I keep my nails presentable.
